Vascular Surgery

Description

The students will have the opportunity to participate in the management and work up of patients with vascular disease. The settings will include the VAMC and University Hospital clinics and OR's. The students will understand the physiology and anatomy of the circulatory system in health and disease and will learn to take an appropriate history and physical exam. Ambulatory focus will revolve around endovascular interventions, clinics and outpatient or daytime surgery.
