Description

During this elective, third-year students gain experience in the evaluation and treatment of the twenty most common dermatologic conditions encountered in ambulatory settings, as well as less common entities. Students are awarded increasing responsibility for obtaining histories, describing patients using dermatologic terminology, and synthesizing an initial differential diagnosis and learn to perform a KOH preparation and scabies preparation.
