Family Medicine Preceptorship

Description

During this four-week ambulatory clerkship, the fourth-year student works with a community preceptor within the state. Emphasis is placed on student responsibility for patient care and the development of treatment plans. The student is exposed to clinical, administrative, financial, and social aspects of the practice of Family Medicine. Students should contact the department in advance to ensure preceptor availability.
