Orthopedic Surgery
Description
This is a 4-week rotation that is designed for students considering a residency in orthopedic surgery. The student will be exposed to outpatient, inpatient and surgical aspects of orthopedics as a specialty. Total care of the orthopedic patient, children and adults, represents the focal point of this rotation. Preoperative care, as well as experience in the operating room, will receive emphasis.
