Pediatric Infectious Diseases

Description

Primary objective is to provide an understanding of the fundamentals of infectious diseases and infection control. The student will function as a house officer, i.e. answering consultations and attending I.D. conferences and journal club. Additional experiences will include microbiology laboratory rounds and instruction in the pharmacokinetics of antibiotics.
