Description

The Data Analysis in Medicine elective course is designed to equip medical students with the essential skills to effectively statistical analysis in their future medical practice. This course focuses on practical applications descriptive statistics, summary statistics, effect size and power, t-tests, analysis of variance, regression, and non-parametric statistics. Participants will enhance their statistical skills and use of statistical software through hands-on workshops, interactive tutorials, and real-world case scenarios. By the end of the course, participants will be empowered to leverage statistical analysis for informed decision-making, improved patient care, and academic contributions to the field of medicine.
